Will neither halt nor compromise on accountability drive, Fawad Ch tells opposition

ISLAMABAD: Federal minister for information and broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry vowed not to halt or compromise on accountability process against the corrupt.


He made these remarks during interview with private news channel.


“Masses voted for us to ensure indiscriminate accountability. Federal govt will take all measures to make National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) laws more effective. We will this issue [of making NAB’s law more effective] in parliament’s next session”, Fawad was quoted as saying.


“Accords worth trillions would be inked in upcoming conference will be inked during conference scheduled to be held in Saudi Arabia. Prime Minister Imran Khan will represent Pakistan in the conference”, revealed Fawad.


The firebrand information minister stated that Pakistan will further strengthen its relation with Beijing while adding at the same time that Pakistan has approached IMF for bailout package.
