PTI govt responsible for rupee depreciation, increasing inflation, Said Miftah Ismail

ISLAMABAD: Former finance minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Miftah Ismail on Tuesday while taking a jibe at the government, said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was responsible for depreciation in rupee and increasing inflation.


Addressing a press conference along with Senator Musadiq Malik on Tuesday, he demanded the government to restore development budget if the economic crisis is resolved.


The PML-N leaders said that former prime minister and PML-N supremo is a reality of Pakistani politics, adding that accountability of PTI leader Jahangir Tareen and PML-Q leader Pervaiz Elahi should be done.
