PPP to focus on creating job opportunities, welfare of farmers, says Zardari

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has said that PPP is aware of the troubles faced by the people and it will focus on creating more job opportunities for poor people and will also take measures for prosperity of farmers.

Zardari expressed these views while talking to workers of the party from NA-213 constituency, and members of local traders’ communities, who called on him at Zardari House Benazirabad. Office bearers of the party belonging to Zardari’s constituency also called on the former president.

Traders’ community assured Zardari of their support in upcoming elections from NA-213. Former MNA Azra Fazal Pechehu was also present on the occasion.

Speaking to party workers, Zardari said that every worker will have to work hard for these elections. He added that the party always relies on the votes of the people and that is the reason that after coming to power, the party always focuses to serve the people.

He alleged that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government ignored the people of the country and the entire country was engulfed in economic difficulties. PML-N government continuously increased the petroleum prices thus increasing the difficulties of the people, he added.
