Shehbaz asks ECP to give equal opportunities to all for transparent elections

SAHIWAL: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif called for provision of equal opportunities to all political parties for unbiased, transparent and fair elections.

The former Punjab Chief Minister was addressing a rally in Sahiwal.

“If Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) wants to conduct fair elections, then it should give all [political outfits] equal opportunities. A single political party should not be subjected to revengeful proceedings.

Terming Sahiwal Power Plant as crown jewel of PML-N, the junior-Sharif questioned the nature of justice which declares Asif Ali Zardari [Pakistan Peoples Party co-chairman] truthful but nudges Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz to appear before National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

Shehbaz extended his verbal onslaught against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan while stating that latter hurls allegations at former without evidence.

“We will bring Pakistan at par with Turkey and Malaysia if another chance is given”, vowed Sharif.
