No headway in sight as lady health workers’ sit-in enters day 4

LAHORE: The sit-in protest of lady health workers in front of Punjab Assembly has entered fourth day without any headway in sight.

According to sources, Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Department has refused to meet the demands of the protesters, saying that all the genuine demands have already been met.

Due to the protest, the traffic around Charing Cross has been severely disturbed. Moreover, Livestock Department workers have also joined the sit-in with their own demands, which has further worsened the traffic problem.
