My press conference was presented out context, Said Maryam Nawaz

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz on Sunday said that her yesterday’s press conference was presented out of context in the media and newspapers.


In a series of tweets on Sunday, she said that she and her uncle Shehbaz Sharif has a relation of love and respect, adding that he is party president and it is her duty to take him in confidence on every matter.


The PML-N vice president went on to say that the leader of opposition in National Assembly offered Charter of Economy in his speech during the budget session but his offer was rejected to which NA Speaker Asad Qaiser said that there is still time.


Maryam said: “I talked about country’s devastating economy in yesterday’s presser and said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and his fake government has made fun of the country’s economy.


She further said that her statement was presented out of context.
