Man tortured, set ablaze on suspicion of theft

SIALKOT: A worker of a hotel in Sialkot was brutally tortured and then set ablaze by sprinkling kerosene oil the owners on suspicion of stealing rice from the hotel.

The victim, Bilal, was shifted to Lahore from Sialkot in critical condition.

According to Bilal’s mother, her son was working at the hotel for the past 18 years. He was set ablaze by the son-in-law of the owner of the hotel after subjecting to severe torture on the pretext of stealing rice from the hotel.
