CM Usman Buzdar to inaugurate center for police mobile welfare vans

MULTAN: Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Usman Buzdar will inaugurate the center for police mobile welfare vans on Thursday (today).


According to details, the CM Punjab will chair a meeting related to development projects besides inaugurating police mobile welfare vans.


Few days earlier, the Punjab government announced to introduce “e-tendering” system for government contracts in order to curb corruption.


Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar accorded the approval to bring e-tendering system in the province. He said the system will be launched soon in all government departments.


Initially, the e-tendering system will be introduced in phases, the CM told, adding that the system will be completely implemented from the new financial year.


“All departments will be bound to pay the contract under the e-tendering system.”
