Two suicide bombers held in countrywide raids

RAWALPINDI: Security forces on Wednesday arrested two suicide bombers in countrywide raids.

The raids were conducted under the Operation Radd-ul-Fassad, anti-militants offensive launched by the Pakistan Army.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces, on a tip-off, conducted raids in Lakki Marwat, Kotakshah Golikhan and Sarai Noorang and arrested two terrorists Naimatullah and Siddiqullah. Suicide jackets and communication equipment were also seized.

Meanwhile, a huge cache of arms, ammunition, IEDs, detonators and communication equipment was seized during operations in North Waziristan and Doslai.

In yet another operation in Dalbandin, security forces recovered 400 detonators and explosives material.
