Three Chinese nationals held for filming newly-built Islamabad Airport

ISLAMABAD: Law-enforcement agencies on Thursday rounded up three Chinese nationals who were filming the newly-built Islamabad Airport.

As per the details, the Airport Security Force (ASF) also shot the drone camera which they were allegedly using to make video of the newly-built Islamabad Airport.

The drone was completely destroyed as a result of the firing by the ASF personnel.

The Chinese nationals were making videos of the airport without permission.

The security officials took the Chinese nationals and drone camera in custody and started investigation.

The Spokesperson of Aviation Division had said that the new Islamabad International Airport will be made operational from Friday.

He said that all was set to start the flight operation at the biggest green field airport of the country.

The spokesperson said that the passengers will be provided state of the art and modern facilities according to international standards.
