Sheikh Rasheek terms Avenfield verdict as victory of justice

ISLAMABAD: Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed on Friday said that the Avenfield reference verdict against former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif and his family is a victory of justice.

Reacting to the Avenfield reference verdict, he said that the Sharif family failed to prove their money trail, adding that on return Nawaz Sharif will be sent to jail.

The AML chief claimed that he will form next government along with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, adding that the PML-N couldn’t digest the money earned through corruption.

Nawaz Sharif was introduced to politics by a dictator, Sheikh said and added his politics has ended.
