Punjab Governor: Chaudhry Sarwar takes oath as 33rd Governor Punjab

LAHORE: Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar took oath as 33rd Governor of Punjab at a special ceremony held here at the Governor House on Wednesday afternoon.


Chief Justice Lahore High Court Mr. Justice Muhammad Yawar Ali administered the oath to the new Governor. Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, Provincial Ministers, Senators, MNAs, MPAs and Govt officials besides PTI leaders and workers attended the oath-taking ceremony in large number.


Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar congratulated Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on becoming Governor Punjab and expressed good wishes for him.


He said Ch. Sarwar would use that office for public welfare and his becoming of Governor Punjab was a good change. “We will jointly serve the masses and transform this country into a new Pakistan”, the Chief Minister concluded.
