PM Office orders inquiry into fake notification about govt employees

ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister’s Office has ordered an inquiry into the issuance of a fake notification about the termintion of government employees.


The fake notification was doing the rounds on media on September 5 when it said no official except court orders would be sacked from their office.


It was reported by media outlets that special instructions were issued to all government departments in an order issued by Prime Minister’s Secretary Azam Khan.


According to the purported orders, anyone working in any government department whether on permanent or contractual basis would not be sacked, while any action against government employees should also stopped till further orders.
