Our institutions face international pressure: Fazl-ur-Rehman

KARACHI: The head of Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI-F) Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has said that the state institutions face international pressure in utilizing national resources.

Talking to media in a local hotel, veteran religio-political leader said that our economy is not independent. Everyone knows who has the ultimate say in every matter, he said.

Commenting on the current activism by institutions, he said that all their energies are directed towards politicians and our democracy is the most helpless one.
