Organized, aggressive campaign being run against NAB, Said Javed Iqbal

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman retired Justice Javed Iqbal asserted that an organized and aggressive campaign is being run against the institution.

Speaking at seminar, he made it evident that no fear and greed can scare them.

We do not have any relation with a politician or group, clarified NAB chief.

“We will tighten the noose against corrupt elements. We will probe against those who looted the national exchequer. People became the owners of plaza in Dubai in no time. We will find out the source behind all their income,” he vowed.

“Only constitution and law will rule in the country. The only treatment to corruption is self accountability,” NAB chairman declared bluntly.

“We held probe against those people about whom we have never thought of taking action,” he said.

“The dream of corruption free Pakistan will be fulfilled only after lowering the rate of the practice. A surgery has to be done to root out corruption. We will bring back money sent abroad,” asserted NAB chief.
