Nandipur power project exists only in advertisement, said Imran

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Monday taunted that former Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif made Nandipur Power Project only in advertisement.

Khan was addressing a rally here in Punjab’s Lahore ahead of General Elections 2018.

Khan—who is sensing victory in elections 2018—deplored that residents of the provincial capital do not have access to clean water.

“Abid Boxer assassinated people at behest of Shehbaz Sharif. The condition of schools in Lahore is deplorable”, added Khan.

Khan claimed that PTI would win elections from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) with vast majority. Khan apprised attendants that uplift of budget of Lahore is Rs350 bln whereas that of K-P is just Rs110 bn. “K-P’s education system is far better than that of Punjab. [We] will introduce best local body government system if come to power”, vowed Khan.

Khan further vowed to quash away the faults in Punjab Police while promised technical colleges for the youth.
