Media should mobilise voters for elections, Asks Punjab CM

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Dr. Hassan Askari said that media should play its national responsibility for mobilization of voters for forthcoming elections.


He said this while discussing implementation of code of conducts of Election Commission of Pakistan for media in a meeting with Chairman Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Saleem Baig in Lahore.


The CM said media should perform its duty responsibly during electoral process on the election day.


He said the caretaker government had made all necessary arrangements for holding free, fair and transparent elections. He said all of us should play this national responsibility amicably. Dr Hassan Askari said that for achievement of common goal we should work under combined strategy.
