Lahore: Fire in bakery leaves five dead

LAHORE:  Five people died due to suffocation as fire erupted in a bakery in Barkat Market this morning.

Reportedly, fire erupted due to short circuiting.

Among the dead include 15-year old Shakeel and a 30-year old student among others.

Rescue teams are trying to rescue people from upper storey of the building after putting out the fire.

According to the rescue officials, there was no fire alarm in the building. In addition, the people on the upper storey had no idea about the fire downstairs.
