LAHORE: Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shehbaz said that finding solution to the problems of 220 million people is not a joke.
He said that the mandate of the people was robbed in recently held general elections, adding that Rs21 billion had been spent on holding elections.
“I have never seen any fake election like this one in the history of the country but even then contested election like a lion,” he added.
Hamza went on to say that soon after assuming office, Prime Minister Imran Khan has dropped electricity and gas bomb on the masses.
Urban areas witnessing six hours of load shedding, he said and added the prices of gas have been raised 46 percent.
“The prime minister had promised to construct 300 dams in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but could even built one,” the PML-N leader added.
