Federal cabinet to discuss 20-point agenda today

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan will preside over a meeting of the federal cabinet in Islamabad today (Thursday) to review a 20-point agenda.


According to sources, anti-drugs policy 2018 will be presented during the meeting. The relaxation in Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules 2004 in infrastructure and economic inclusion projects will also be deliberated in the meeting.


The approval of appointment of Employees Old-Age Benefits Institutions (EOBI) chairman and Gwadar Port Authority chairman is also included in the agenda.


The cabinet will give a principled approval of PIMS ordinance 2019 document. Amendments in National Disaster Management Act 2010 and approval of the appointment of Agricultural Development Bank president are also part of agenda.


National Economic Council’s report for the fiscal year 2017-18 will also be presented during the cabinet meeting.
