Ex-PM Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali announces to resign from NA

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali has announced his resignation from National Assembly on Wednesday.

According to details, Jamali said that Balochistan was ignored in the budget for fiscal year 2018 to 2019. I so want to stop the implementation of budget, he added.

The ex-PM said that the members lied in the assembly while the institutions were also maligned.

He said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman was appointed by PM and opposition leader and that if they are not satisfied with his performance, then they should tender their resignations.

He further said that he will send his resignation in writing to the Speaker office.
