Balochistan CM to announce launch of new party today

ISLAMABAD: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo will announce the launch of a new party in the province today after he called it quits with Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid yesterday.

Along with him, some other PML-Q members from PML-Q also left the party. Balochistan CM and the members met PML-Q’s head Chaudhry Shujat in Islamabad.

The Chief Minister said that he has no dispute with the party however; a new political party is being formed in the benefit of the province.

Chaudhry Pervaiz said on the occasion that the party’s relationship with Balochistan is strong and everyone has to work together for Pakistan.

Names such as Balochistan Democratic Party, Balochistan Awami Party and Democratic Alliance are under consideration for the party. All the paperwork for the formation of new party and consultation with constitutional and legal experts has been completed.
